Truck Driver Dave and Truck Driver Becky are up to their usually goofy antics as they explore the world of trucks here. We have about ten of this series and I would rank this in the middle -- on the plus side, there is the good-natured banter between the two affable leads and the over-arching mystery of what they are hauling in their 18-wheeler, on the minus side there is at least one lengthy segment from another video in the series, and our toddler doesnt really like it when a car is damaged.
Dave and Becky look at tow trucks, garbage trucks, a monster truck and the biggest truck in the world, which hauls the Space Shuttle out to its launch pad. They also visit shipping facilities that work with large truck containers.
Dave and Becky work well together, and this video is popular in our house. Chances are, your child will like it too.

My 23 month old son loves this video and asks to watch it over and over. He loves wathcing the different trucks work, but loses interest during the scenes where Dave and Becky are talking and arguing. Also, he gets upset about seeing the tow truck back into the car and then drop it and about watching the garbage truck drop the garbage can and then roll away. Im ordering other truck videos hoping hell get to see more of the trucks (the part that facinates him) and less of the silly stuff (that upsets him and annoys us).

My son can watch this over and over again, and as a result can point out to me which trucks are which! He is only 18 mos.old. We try to limit it to just few times a week, but it is truly his favorite video.

My two-year-old likes to watch this, but I think its hilarious. Its almost like a spoof of the whole genre of truck/car/fire-engine videos for infants.
Theres comedy galore on this tape: all the bickering in the truck (but its always good-natured) the sub-plot of trying to determine what cargo theyre carrying in the truck (top secret military stuff?) the mishaps that occur when they flash back to their various truck experiences (especially the tow-truck scene) and then of course the surprise ending when they find out what their cargo actually is.
Its so bad its great. Your infant may not get much of it, but you may actually like to watch this with him/her.

I ordered this for my 4 yr old grandson and he loves it. The first section about a firetruck doesnt interest him, but the others do. His 16 month old brother watches as well. Even though, I found it corny, the boys didnt. "I want to see it again, Grandma" means its a winner to the target audience.
